Application Details

The Spring 2018 study abroad program on Games & Tourism in Dubrovnik, Croatia is open to all RIT students interested in studying the intersection of game design and tourism while living in one of the top tourist destinations in Europe.

The program is open to students from all majors at RIT. The advanced game design electives offered in Dubrovnik have a prerequisite of  IGME-220. We will be setting aside ten seats in a fall section of this class for non-majors who have put a deposit down on the study abroad program before the the start of fall classes.

The program fee will be approximately $2900, which includes furnished housing in Dubrovnik, airport transfers to and from Dubrovnik, and a number of field trips to neighboring cities and countries. Other expenses will include airfare to Croatia, as well as food, Croatian health insurance, student bus passes, and visa fees–we estimate that students will need approximately $2300 for the semester to cover these expenses. However, given the lower cost of food and housing in Croatia, studying abroad can actually save you money despite the travel costs! Take a look at our Croatia Cost Comparison.

We will begin accepting applications on the RIT Study Abroad website at the end of the 2017 spring semester. The deadline for applications will be in October of 2017.
