Advanced game design electives focused on tourism

RIT Croatia – Spring 2018

Games & Tourism

Games and gamification are increasingly important in attracting tourists and improving travelers’ experiences in new locations. Students will focus on designing and implementing location-specific games to engage visitors in exploration and discovery.

What Will it Cost?

A lot less than you probably think! Because the cost of food and housing in Dubrovnik is so much lower than the cost here in Rochester, you could end up spending less money to study abroad–even when you factor in the cost of airfare. See the “About the Program” section for details.

Who Can Go?

This program is open to all RIT students who have taken IGME-220, Introduction to Game Design & Development. A section of this class for non-majors will be offered this fall.
